The fundamental principles we work to are simple enough.

To provide a top quality wedding photography service to all our clients from initial enquiry through to supply of products such as framed images and Graphistudio albums/story books. We are qualified members of The British Institute of Professional Photography and The Master Photographers Association and strive to bring high quality industry standards from photographic principals right through to customer service to each and every person we deal with, so for this reason we work to two top industry codes of conduct.

The Photography Side

London based Lime Photography is headed up myself Tony Meehan LBIPP LMPA. A full time professionally qualified photographer with over 16 years experience. Progressing from a portrait & commercial background and having photographed subjects as diverse as famous actors, presenters, prime ministers and sports personalities to venue exteriors, table decorations and products gives me a unique wealth of experience and technical skills to undertake such a huge task as providing our clients with their wedding photography both in studio, on location and all other related services. Where possible I undertake most of the photographic work myself but when the need arises I have a small back-up team of professional photographers whom which to call upon during busy times. We only ever use other photographers that have assisted me on weddings in the past and that have a proven track record of a high standard of technical skill, personal communication presentation and professionalism. We are a small enough company to provide that personal service and large enough to deal with fluctuating workflows.

The Admin & Design Side

Continuity is important to us so you will normally only deal with myself Tony or Teresa. Teresa is the backbone of the business. Official titles are Director and Company Secretary, however with a history of working for large City of London corporations in administration and progressing into graphic/web design for clients as diverse as model agents through to international authors her skills have lead her to taking on the roles of administration and design guru, she will deal with most initial enquiries, meetings, appointments through to the design of our top of the range quality and industry leader, graphistudio albums. She is also (thankfully) responsible for sourcing some of the amazing products and suppliers we deal with and supply.

Our Style

Our photography style generally consists of a mixture of modern, fresh and striking images that are emotive to the viewer. We listen to our clients and provide exactly what is required in respect of style or mixtures of style to provide you with stylish, emotive, and treasurable images that will provoke warm memories and emotions years after the wedding day.

Our Approach

Our approach is professional, friendly, patient and discreet when applicable taking into consideration religious and cultural sensitivities whilst at the same time ensuring we achieve stylish and emotive images that are applicable to your taste. We normally photograph both formal and reportage styles, in order to catch spontaneity and real emotion, whilst calmly and courteously organizing and orchestrating the larger formal group shots.

Who's wedding would we attend ?

Answer, Everybody's. No matter who you are, you have the right to have your love and commitment artistically recorded to cherish for the rest of your life. We have a vast amount of experience in all types of wedding photography and are more than happy to discuss commissions from any ethnic, (singular or mixed) groups and or religious faiths. Commission enquiries are more than welcome from couples undertaking marriage through the civil partnership route. Our goal is to provide a high quality wedding photograph service to clients throughout the UK and Internationally.

Some of our more iconic venue locations have been, Lambeth Palace & Gardens, Southwark Cathedral, The South Bank, The Greenwich Peninsular, The Inner Temple, The Gerkin Tower, HMS Victory, Tower Bridge and many more which include traditional and modern Churches, Synagogues, Registry Offices, Town Halls, , Abbeys, Palaces, Country Houses, Castles, Historic Warships, Honorable Society of Court Buildings, Stately Homes, Grand Hotels, Golf Clubs and Temples.

Legalities

We undertake a fully professional wedding photography & design service and as such operate from a state of the art digital photographic studio in London and are covered by all applicable public and product liability insurance's. All our commissions are book with the terms and conditions strait forwardly issued to avoid any issues arriving from misunderstandings.

The good stuff

We don't want problems we want recommendations and the best way to achieve this is by working to the top photographic industry codes of WORKING TO BEST PRACTISE. I have mention a few times "a top quality wedding photography service" this is exactly what I mean, not that you can see us for 10 minutes make your mind up and we will turn up on the day and do your photography. You can enquire and we shall call you back at a convenient time for you, you can have a free studio shoot to help you decide, see below for details, you can come into the studio and discuss your needs in person over a relaxed coffee or tea, should you book we will discuss the venue, your requirements in full, we will then invite you back nearer the big day to go over your plans in fine detail, check timings, logistics, locations and lighting conditions. We shall call you a few days before just to catch up on any last minute changes. We shall arrive early on the day fully prepared with back-up equipment should any mechanical failure occur. After the big day we shall continue this service with online image viewing and purchasing available to you and your guests, correspond frequently whilst in the design stages of any albums or storybooks.
